The Most Important Element for Style? Courage!

I will not wear a stole, cuff bracelets, frill neck and floral prints because I know I'm not going to wear it properly, and I won't feel comfortable in my outfit. I will not wear midi skirts, cardigans, wide pants because I will look ridiculous! You've said that sort of thing to yourself, haven't you?

Why does the fear of making mistakes or feeling silly keep us from trying new things and changing our style? Have you ever wondered what would happen if you put that fear aside?

The best ingredient for developing your dress style is courage! Here I will explain why you should be bold and brave when you have the opportunity to evolve your usual style.

You have to take the opportunity to make a mistake. Without it, you are not giving yourself the chance to learn. It is by trying that you allow yourself to improve your personal style.

Our life is made up of experiences, good or bad. A child does not learn to walk without falling. However, with each fall, he studies his mistakes. Have you ever made a mistake that taught you a lesson in your life? You have, without a doubt, faced a complicated equation in a math class. And it is by dint of trying that you have managed to overcome the difficulties encountered, right? We learn by trying. And it takes courage to try.

To be human is to be imperfect. And perfection is the boredom of action. Worrying about putting on the wrong accessory (and preferring not to wear it) or wearing something that makes you look silly happens to everyone. However, how many times have you pointed and laughed at someone who made a mistake in style? Don't you remember? This is not surprising.

Are you too obsessed with your image?

It's a fact, we are more obsessed with our own image than with that of others. For example, do you remember the outfits you wore on your last night with friends? Could you easily specify the colours worn by your work colleagues? There are so many things that we focus our minds on. Why worry about making a mistake by trying something new? So, have you never experienced the element of surprise when trying on an item of clothing? If so, it's a shame. There are loads of people who get surprised when trying on a skirt they would never have dared before.

Trying on new styles, new clothes, new cuts ... gives some women real moments of joy. Challenge yourself! You don't have to buy new clothes and remodel your wardrobe. You just need to create new associations with the pieces that make up your dressing room.

It takes courage to be wrong!

If you don't try your hand at something new or a little different from your usual style, you'll never find these clothes that can work wonderfully on you. You will deprive yourself of those pleasant sensations felt by those who use their wardrobe to be different every day. And above all, you will deprive yourself of hearing the compliments of those close to you. Yes, changing your style from time to time offers the possibility of hearing our loved ones compliment us, gratify us ... and that feels good!

Trying something new every day will make you feel more comfortable and give you the courage to continue down this path. Plus, making small, step-by-step changes will also allow you to see what works and what doesn't. You will gradually discover the cuts adapted to your morphology, the shades that flatter your complexion, etc.

What will you gain by showing boldness and sartorial courage?

By having the courage to try and eventually fail, you will learn and grow. Daring will allow you to find new pieces to enhance your style and figure. You will no longer just put on clothes but will gradually get used to showing off yourself. You will perfect your dress style until it is as personalised as it is sharp. Believe us, it changes your life. By claiming your right to experiment, you will discover a limitless world and endless possibilities to dress in elegant and stylish outfits. Dare!
